Sunday Afternoon

12:15-1:00 Bridging Judaism: Story Exchange
Join Jewish Teens from Cincinnati and Israel as we share stories, connect with one another, and learn firsthand about daily life in Israel. With the help of High School facilitators and Bespoken Live, students will participate in eight story exchanges to explore Jewish identity for young people in Israel and the United States. This course is open to students enrolled at Kulanu, Mercaz and Beth Adam, as well as students who attend Lady Davis High School in Tel Aviv. Bespoken Live is a local organization that utilizes storytelling to create relationships. You can learn more about them here. https://bespokenlive.org/

Please note – the first session is a 60-minute Story Workshop and will begin at noon. The remaining sessions will begin at 12:15.

1:00-1:45 Israeli Diversity
Get ready to take a deep-dive into Israel’s social, ethnic, political and cultural diversity with staff from JNF’S Alexander Muss High School in Israel! Your teacher will join you from Israel as you explore Israel’s diversity. Far too many people think of Israel in a monolithic sense: a white European warzone dominated by the Arab-Israeli conflict. The problem with this belief is that it is simply not true! Explore and meet many of the different types of people, ideas and cultures that the modern state of Israel has within its borders. This course is open to students enrolled at Kulanu, Mercaz and Beth Adam. Any student who completes the course and attends the information session will receive up to $750 off select AMHSI sessions. Please email lreis@jnf.org for more information.
